Hello Ric, As I was surfing the net I came across Your site about Adèle Blanc-Sec. Last week I visited Paris and as I was looking through all pictures I took during my trip there, I found this picture. Unfortunately the picture is a little blurry. However I suggest, that the search is over. At least I think the resemblance is obvious. Is this not Adèle's house or what? This is in the corner of Rue des Petits Champs and Rue du Mail. In the background to the right of the house you can see a statue of a rider. This statue is in Place des Victoires. To the right of the camera (outside the picture) is the Bank of France building. I'm also sending you a map in which I have marked the position of the house. I hope that you find my discovery interesting. However I recognize the fact that everybody has a right to make their own judgments. This is therefore only my personal suggestion, but I think this is The House. Best Regards, [For more "sightings" of Adèle's house around France, see the Adèle at Home page!] |

I came across your website by chance.... The lettering and coloring that you have chosen for your site fit well with Adèle Blanc-Sec's universe. Perhaps it sounds a bit silly, but I simply wanted to thank you for having rekindled my taste for these stories, which used to fascinate me at a younger age, just as they did you. Nicolas Demnard |
